
In September, CBS Diversity was in Washington, DC for the National Hispanic Foundation For The Arts (NHFA) Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebrations. Josie Thomas SVP & Chief Diversity Officer, Fern Orenstein Vice President, Casting, and Barbara Matos Manager, Diversity attended. “CBS is honored to again support and be a part of the National Hispanic Foundation For The Arts, as we continue our longstanding partnership” said Josie Thomas. Fern Orenstein conducted another well-received actor workshop for the NHFA fellows.
The National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts was created in 1997 by actors Jimmy Smits, Esai Morales, Sonia Braga and attorney Felix Sanchez, to advance the presence of Latinos in the media, telecommunications and entertainment industries.
