On Tuesday May 9th The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) along with Empire State Development, Urbanworld and some of the top studios and networks hosted The New York State Multicultural Creativity Summit where CBS was also a sponsor. The event, which featured opening remarks from Senator Chris Dodd, (Chairman and CEO of MPAA), is designed to help diverse creators engage the film and television industry. Josie Thomas, EVP, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, CBS Corporation was a featured speaker on the Talent Development Initiatives at Studios and Networks Panel along with Diana Mogollón (Stage 13), Dennis Williams (HBO). John Gibson (MPAA) served as the moderator.
