In June, Barbara Matos, Vice President, Diversity, CBS Corporation and NALIP Board of Trustee member served as Co-Chair of the 2015 NALIP Media Summit which took place in Los Angeles. As Co-Chair she partnered with the NALIP board and staff to realize this year’s highly successful Media Summit. “We are honored and thrilled to have Barbara Matos and Julie Ann Crommett, co-chair this year’s Media Summit. The NALIP Media Summit is the largest and most prestigious annual gathering of Latino content creators and those interested in Latino content. The 16th annual Summit presented top-level speakers who provided analysis of the television, film, documentary and digital media industries while projecting future trends. Intimate conversations with artists were held as well as workshops for emerging and mid-career content creators. Tiffany Smith-Anoa’i, Senior Vice President, Entertainment Diversity & Communications, CBS Entertainment and Jeanne Mau-Honeycutt, Vice President, Entertainment Diversity participated in the Media Summit providing program information to Media Summit delegates.
