Barry Chamberlain has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Sales, CBS Studios International, it was announced today by Armando Nuñez, President, CBS Studios International, to whom he reports.
Chamberlain will continue to oversee CBS’s sales offices in Latin America, Asia and Australia, developing and implementing sales strategies in these territories. Additionally, Chamberlain will oversee CBS Studios International’s format business, which licenses rights and coordinates the production of localized programming based on CBS-owned content.
“Barry’s well-deserved promotion reflects his leadership position within the CBS Studios International team and his dedication to maintaining the company’s leadership position in worldwide content distribution,” said Nuñez. “His business acumen and years of experience continue to be invaluable as we expand CBS’s global footprint across all platforms in an ever changing international media landscape.”

Prior to his promotion, Chamberlain served as Senior Vice President, Sales for CBS Studios International. He joined CBS Broadcast International in 1999 as Vice President, Sales and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales in 2005 shortly after the division merged with Paramount International Television.
Chamberlain began his international television career in 1992 as Sales Coordinator, Samuel Goldwyn Company. His other positions included Director, International Sales and Marketing, New World Entertainment and Director, Sales and Planning, Universal Television and Network Group.
Chamberlain earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with an emphasis in international relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from Arizona’s Thunderbird School of Global Management.
