John NogawskiPresident & COO, CBS Television DistributionJohn Nogawski is President and Chief Operating Officer of CBS Television Distribution. In his position, Nogawski oversees all activities for CBS Television Distribution, including syndication sales, advertising sales, marketing, research, programming and development, and digital entertainment strategies. Before the September 2006 merger of King World and CBS Paramount Domestic Television into CTD, Nogawski had been President, CBS Paramount Domestic Television since March 2002. In that position, he was responsible for the sales and marketing of the top two entertainment newsmagazines Entertainment Tonight and its spinoff The Insider; the top two court shows Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown; long-running talk show Montel Williams; and coveted off-network product such as Frasier, NCIS and Medium. He also spearheaded the digital remastering of the original Star Trek series, which returned to broadcast syndication in a high-definition format with all-new special effects, after a 16 year absence. Nogawski also oversaw all advertising sales and spearheaded integrated marketing efforts for CBS Paramount Domestic Television's shows. Previously, Nogawski served as President, Distribution, Paramount Domestic Television, a position he held since 1999. He first joined Paramount in 1983, became an account executive in the Division in 1985 and was named Vice President, Eastern Regional Manager, Paramount Domestic Television, running the New York sales office, in 1990. In 1992, he relocated to Los Angeles as Senior Vice President, General Sales Manager, and was named Executive Vice President, General Sales Manager in 1994.
